Job summary

Jefferson Health in Pennsylvania seeks a capable Registered Nurse for Albert Einstein Medical Center. You will apply the nursing process to address patients’ physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs, coordinating with care partners and families.

You will develop individualized care plans, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and educate patients and families to support recovery, all while upholding cultural beliefs and values in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice.
• Cultural awareness of diverse patient backgrounds.
• Effective communication with patients and families.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• Ability to educate patients and designated care partners.
• Active RN license in state of practice.
• 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with patients and families to identify learning needs and priorities.
• Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, and monitor outcomes.
• Works within inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Delivers nursing care plans aligned with cultural beliefs and values.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Acts as a preceptor to supporting staff and students.
