Job summary

Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient- and family-centered nursing care. You will develop and implement individualized plans of care and work within a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities include collaboration with inter-professional teams, patient education, and adherence to safety and quality standards, with opportunities for professional growth and preceptorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Effective communication and delegation to team members.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• Knowledge of medication administration and discharge planning.
• Knowledge of health information documentation and charting.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, families, and staff aligning with Jefferson Health values.
• Identify learning needs with patients and provide understandable education.
• Use information technology to communicate, monitor outcomes, and support safety.
• Collaborate in nursing and inter-professional teams for safe, coordinated care.
• Support professional growth and act as a preceptor where appropriate.
• Participate in safety and quality improvement committees.
