Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for South 6 during the night shift. This part-time, on-site position requires applying through Workday.

You will utilize the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care, from admission to discharge, with a focus on safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include patient assessments, care coordination, discharge planning, and supervising junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required for every RN unless ACLS is current, in addition to unit certifications.
• BSN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in line with job description and competency.
