Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Current Oklahoma RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (ACLS within 6 months if not current).
• Minimum one year of PACU, Emergency, or ICU experience preferred.
• Pre-operative experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for patient admission, care during and discharge according to policies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of drug usage and interactions related to anesthesia.
• Recognizes emergencies and responds per policy to prevent adverse outcomes.
• Maintains pre-operative care standards and documents assessments and outcomes.
• Ensures admission requirements are met and communicates pre-op instructions to families.
