Job summary

The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and the health care team, and support discharge planning on a night shift in a PRN/Staff capacity at the DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

The role emphasizes leadership, teaching, and coordination within a multidisciplinary team, with requirements including nursing school graduation, Michigan RN licensure, and AHA BLS

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.
• Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision-making activities.
