Job summary

MaineHealth's Maine Medical Center is hiring a Clinical Nurse to support care for patients with chronic disease, nephrology and urology, including renal transplant recipients and living donors. This is a full-time night shift with three 12-hour shifts weekly.

The Clinical Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care following state and organizational standards, completing assessment, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation, and participates in residency programs for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine.
• Experience: entry-level RN; not required.
• BSN preferred.
• Nurse Residency program available for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Care delivery across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and community settings.
• Collaborate with care team to provide patient- and family-centered care.
