Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for a per diem Medical/Telemetry Unit night shift. This RN will provide safe, compassionate care and uphold Patient Centered Care principles within a medical/telemetry setting.

Requirements include an accredited RN program graduate, current Nevada nursing license, BLS and ACLS certificates, and 1 year FT or 3 years PT acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate.
• Must have one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients; develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet patient/family needs.

Education
