Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical Stepdown on the night shift. You will apply the nursing process to provide safe patient care and collaborate with other departments.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN), MO RN license, BLS, and hospital experience preferred. Mercy offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Hospital experience preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
