Job summary
Corewell Health's Trenton Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for the Med Surg Care Unit. The RN will provide professional nursing care using the nursing process, partnering with patients and families to develop and implement plans of care and discharge teaching.
The role requires an Associate and/or Bachelor of Nursing with NCLEX licensure, BLS on hire, and rotation to night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am), 36 hours weekly, every other weekend, in a Magnet-designated facility.
Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing Required.
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years.
- NCLEX licensure must be passed; MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required; BLS Required upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
- Coordinate patient/family teaching and discharge planning.
- Document education and learning in health records.
