Job summary

Mount Carmel Dublin is hiring a Registered Nurse to staff its inpatient unit, starting with training at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s in Westerville, OH. You will provide patient-centered care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, using evidence-based practice and the Nursing Process to guide care delivery and documentation.

The unit features 30 beds with Med/Surg, Intermediate care, and a critical care mix. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to compassionate care and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care with delegation where needed.
• Experience using an EMR for charting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients and assist with examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications under provider direction according to policies and guidelines.
• Assist in emergency situations and educate patients and families about procedures.
• Document accurately and completely patient assessments and outcomes in the EMR.
• Coordinate care and supervise other care team members as appropriate.
