Job summary

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center in Bandon, Oregon, is seeking a Full-Time RN for the Med/Surg department. The role involves coordinating patient care, participating in multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Oregon.
• Have and maintain Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care in Med/Surg.
• Be part of multidisciplinary communications to ensure quality care.
• RNs are supervised by the Charge Nurse and report to the Med Surg Manager.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability to changing systems.
