Temple University Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Burn/Med Surg on a full-time night-flex schedule (7p–7:30a) at 36 hours per week, with every-other weekend and holidays as required.

The RN will assess and manage outpatient care during visits or calls, collaborate with the care team, and direct nursing staff according to policies. PA RN license and BLS are required; multi-state or PA license is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2 years experience in area of clinical specialty preferred.
• General experience in Case Management preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse license required; BLS required; multi-state compact license or PA license required.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for care of outpatients during scheduled physician visit or telephone encounter.
• Assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under physician/APC direction.
• Collaborate with patient, families, peers and health care team to individualize care.
• Direct nursing support staff in patient care per standards and policies.
• Professional education or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
