Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for Maternity on a full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care. The role uses the nursing process and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Active NYS RN license, diploma and licensure are required.

BSN is preferred; BLS is required. Maternity/Newborn experience is preferred; NRP/CLC are preferred or can be completed during

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN registration, diploma and licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Maternity/Newborn experience preferred.
• NRP and CLC preferred or completed during Orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care.
• Works collaboratively with all disciplines on the unit.
