Job summary

Gallup Nursing and Rehabilitation in Gallup, NM is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse to lead resident care during 6pm-6am shifts. Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Nursing management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows procedures for narcotics counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight loss.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
