Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking skilled Registered Nurses for Labor & Delivery at IU Saxony with night shifts. The unit handles pregnancy, labor and postpartum care with 24/7 OB coverage and a collaborative care model.

Prior L&D experience is preferred, but new graduates may be considered through the referral pipeline. Qualified candidates hold an Indiana RN license (or NLC), have graduated from an accredited nursing program, and possess BLS; some units may require additional ALS

Qualifications

• RN must hold Indiana RN license or NLC license.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA) required; other advanced life support may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Circulating in OB procedures in the OB OR.
• Triage of OB patients.
• Managing each phase of the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum process.
• Collaborative work with physicians.
