Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Labor & Delivery team at Southwest Magnet Hospital. This full-time night shift (7pm–7am) position focuses on providing expert nursing care in a high-acuity unit.

In this role, you will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, perform nursing assessments, educate patients, and ensure accurate medical records while adhering to unit standards and safety policies.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); additional certifications may be required by unit.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care according to the nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions in patient care delivery.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team; acts as preceptor and mentor to less experienced staff.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in program evaluation and quality improvement to improve patient outcomes.
• Ensures service standards and regulatory compliance; maintains patient-centered care.

RN II = 1-3 years

RN III = 3-10 years

RN IV = 10+ years
