Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery at Texas Health Frisco, a 93-bed acute-care facility. This part-time night role involves 24 hours per week, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, and delivers patient-centered care within a family-focused labor and delivery environment.

Required qualifications include an Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma, 1 year RN experience, and current BCLS/NRP/ACLS/IFM/NRPA/CPI certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year experience as a registered nurse (required).
• At least 1 year of labor and delivery experience (preferred).
• RN residency completion acceptable (required upon hire).
• BCLS, NRP, ACLS, IFM, NRPA, CPI certifications required or maintained.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control into patient care.
• Initiates information-sharing with patients and families.
• Maintains continuity of care across shifts and transfers.
