Tufts Medicine’s MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. The role requires Massachusetts RN licensure, current BLS, and 1 year of RN experience. BSN is preferred.

You will assess patients, implement care plans, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality obstetric care. The position is full-time, night shift (7p-7a) with every third weekend, offering competitive pay and benefits, including retirement, tuition reimbursement, and parking.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required depending on the area.
• 1 year of RN experience required; more for higher levels.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a designated group of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and discharge plans.
• Use nursing judgment to adapt care plans based on patient needs.
• Mentor and support new staff and participate in unit education and committees.
