Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care/Step Down Unit (IMCU/SDU) on the night shift. This 36-hour weekly role offers an up to $20,000 sign-on bonus and a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Eligible candidates are licensed RNs with a RN degree; BSN/MSN preferred. The unit cares for CHF, COPD, MI, CKD, AKD, and Sepsis with complex therapies and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required).
• Registered nursing license (Required).
• BSN/MSN preferred; students in process of completing nursing program.

Responsabilités

• Provide care for IMCU/SDU patients with complex medical needs.
• Maintain close monitoring with specialized interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Manage nursing responsibilities with a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
