Job summary

SGMC Health in Valdosta, GA, seeks an experienced RN for a full-time night shift (7p–7a) on the Inpatient Rehab Nursing unit at the Main Campus.

You will provide patient care through assessment and the nursing process, perform procedures, document care, and coordinate the plan with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, contributing to program development and quality improvement in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
• CPR certification required.
• QI credentialing within 90 days of orientation.
• CRRN certification preferred within two years of employment.
• One year experience in related rehab area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through assessment and implementation of the nursing process on the Rehabilitation Unit.
• Perform and assist with procedures and document care provided.
• Coordinate the plan of care with physicians and the Rehabilitation Interdisciplinary Team.
• Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and productivity within the team.
• Support mission, vision, and standards of SGMC Health.
