Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital in Vermont seeks a part-time night shift Registered Nurse to deliver and coordinate patient care during the overnight hours. This role provides leadership to LPNs and LNAs and requires a Vermont RN license in good standing and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities include implementing orders, coordinating care with the health care team, educating patients, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Vermont RN license in good standing.
• AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides care, treatments, and services within the RN scope of practice.
• Implements provider orders including medication administration.
• Coordinates with health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Prepares and administers prescribed medications with documentation.
• Educates patients on procedures and their personalized plan of care.
• Performs bedside nursing care for a variety of medical patients.
• Initiates patient education and supports self-management.
• Maintains safety and follows hospital policies for medication dispensing.
