Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for the night shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am) with rotating weekends and holidays. The RN delivers patient care using the nursing process, coordinates care with a multidisciplinary team, and ensures patient safety in a dynamic behavioral health setting.

This role reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and is covered by the Massachusetts Nurses Association.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• BLS certification is required.
• De-escalation training within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate all nursing care for patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient safety and a safe milieu, meeting patient needs within unit policies.
