Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a Part-Time RN for a 12-hour night shift in the Adult Behavioral Unit. You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans for adults with mental health and substance use disorders.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing degree, CT RN license, and may have 1+ year MH experience; BLS/CPR certification is

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid RN license in Connecticut.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year experience in mental health or behavioral health inpatient settings preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical and mental health status, including psychiatric stability and withdrawal symptoms.
• Administer medications safely, monitor for effectiveness and side effects, and educate patients on treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers.
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical findings accurately and timely.
• Provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and de-escalation when needed.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning.

Educación

Registered Nurse (RN) license

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
