Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking an RN for night shift duties at our Voorhees, NJ location. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer treatments, and monitor progress in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives in a Magnet-recognized health system known for quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NJ RN License.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills and hospital practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Effectively manages rapidly changing situations.
• Participates in clinical decision-making.
• Educates patient and family regarding disease, care needs, wellness, safety, etc.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by other members of nursing department and healthcare team.
• Maintains competencies and participates in performance improvement activities.
