Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY is actively seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7p-7a). You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and document patient status while supporting families and care coordination.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS within six months. Prior clinical experience is preferred and commitment to ongoing education is essential.

Qualificações

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. Handle With Care (HWC) preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process according to scope and standards of practice.
• Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Coordinates patient care across transfers, discharges, referrals and support needs.
• Provides education to patient and family appropriate to age, culture and circumstances.
• Advocates for patient physical and emotional well-being.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
