Job summary

Empath Health is seeking an RN PRN to join our team, providing night coverage from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. with a minimum of 64 hours per month.

The RN will float among hospice houses in Village on the Isle, Venice, Port Charlotte, and Arcadia, ensuring compassionate, terminally ill patient care. Requirements include Florida RN licensure and relevant bedside/inpatient experience. Responsibilities include patient/family needs assessment, care coordination, and supervision of LPNs/aides to maintain

Qualifications

• Bedside and inpatient nursing experience within the past 10 years.
• Education: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent; six months to one year related experience.
• Florida RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate patient/family needs; provide preventive and supportive care for terminally ill patients.
• Use assessment and teaching skills to maximize comfort and quality of life.
• Provide supervision of LPNs and aides in GIP care delivery.
