Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Magnet-recognized team. This role involves delivering direct nursing care, developing and updating care plans, and educating patients and families throughout the care journey, with night and on-call shifts from 7:00 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m., including weekends and holidays. Minimum qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate and RN licensure, BLS at minimum, and ACLS for critical care areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS Certification for Critical Care areas must be presented upon hire or within first year of hire.
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
