Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking an RN for the Med/Surg General Surgery 3W unit. The role is on a General Surgery inpatient unit (not OR) with night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

This is a full-time position offering 36 hours per week, with sign-on bonuses for experienced and new graduate nurses. Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold Missouri RN licensure (or compact licensure).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: ADN, diploma, or BSN.
• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process on a General Surgery Med/Surg unit.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain professional accountability and contribute to care quality and safety.
