Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support individuals in hospital and residential settings. The RN provides high‑quality, person‑centered nursing care and acts as a clinical leader within an interdisciplinary team.

The Older Adult unit focuses on dementia, depression, and anxiety management, with a 26-bed capacity and a 15–20 day average length of stay.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license.
• BSN preferred; supports advancement.
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing care needs and develop plans with the care team.
• Coordinate care with physicians and staff.
• Provide milieu management and family education, including discharge planning.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Document and communicate patient information per policy.
• Monitor safety risks and changes in condition with providers.
• Lead clinical tasks and coordinate staff assignments.
