Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide nursing care to patients across the lifespan using established nursing processes. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while adhering to hospital policies and coordinating activities of the care team.

State licensure as an RN in Georgia and BCLS certification are required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and prior hospital experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Georgia RN licensure and/or multi-state licensure (NLC/eNLC) current in-state license required; BCLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifespan using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and professional growth within organizational policies.
