Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Memphis East is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time night shifts 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. at Memphis East location inside Baptist East.

This role offers a per-diem schedule with a strong orientation and pathways to full-time opportunities. You will perform admissions, patient assessments, documentation, telemetry interpretation and nurse-led care in a critical illness recovery setting.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required at hire.
• Clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
