Job summary

Noland Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse – RN to provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients on the night shift. The role emphasizes safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care within a coordinated plan of treatment.

You will perform assessments, develop and modify care plans, educate patients and families, administer medications, and monitor life‑support equipment as needed. Alabama RN license and a minimum of two years in critical care are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and an Alabama RN license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of critical‑care nursing experience preferred.
• Night shift availability and ability to work 7 p‑7 a.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and follow patient care plans considering physical, psychosocial, and discharge needs.
• Perform admission assessment and document findings.
• Initiate and modify care plans; participate in weekly care conferences.
• Explain nursing interventions and provide education to patients/families.
• Administer medications and document responses.
• Operate life‑support equipment and monitor devices.
• Respond to life‑threatening situations per protocols.
• Transcribe orders and maintain accurate hospital records.
• Complete patient‑care assignments and assist team as needed.
• Recordkeeping, program development, and other duties as assigned.
