Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Warren County Jail in Lebanon, Ohio. This full-time night shift role offers comprehensive benefits and a $2 night shift differential, with opportunities to contribute to a high‑quality correctional health program.

The RN will provide patient care, monitor and document conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to uphold standards of practice. A valid RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must have at least 1 year experience in nursing.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Possesses an active CPR certification.
• Remains knowledgeable about state laws and regulations governing practice.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor symptoms or changes in patients' condition.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Direct or supervise less-skilled staff and nursing units.
• Prepare patients for examinations or treatments and assist as needed.
• Educate patients and families on health topics and prevention.
