Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby unit on a 7pm–7am shift at Kennestone. The RN will provide high-quality, individualized care within an interdisciplinary team, guided by Wellstar Practice models and safety standards.

Minimum 2 years of direct patient care, active RN license (state or compact), and required certifications (BLS, NRP/ALS) are essential. BSN preferred, strong communication, and collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license (single-state or compact).
• BLS and neonatal certifications required on hire.
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care per standards and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
