Job summary

Johnson County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, supervising licensed practical nurses and support staff under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include care coordination, documentation, patient and family education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or a compact state.
• Evidence of certification and/or instruction as required by standards/regulations.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS and TNCC are preferred but can be obtained after hiring.

Responsibilities

• Initiates assessment and reassessment based on patient needs.
• Identifies nursing priorities and outcomes.
• Implements care plans and supports provider orders.
• Educates patient and family to meet care needs.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the patient's records.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for patient care.
