Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an RN Charge Nurse for Morton Plant Hospital. The role covers overseeing patient care with managerial responsibilities during the 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift, with weekend work every other.

On-call is not required and remote work is not offered. The position requires BLS, RN licensure, and ACLS if mandated by the department, with a BSN or related field to be completed within 7 months of hire, and RN Specialty Certification within 7 months.

Qualifications

• BLS required.
• RN (Registered Nurse) must be held.
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if department requires.
• Preferred Nurse Specialty if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in patient care with strong managerial skills.
• Acts as role model for the nursing team.
• Develops self and team, shares organizational information.
• Preceptor and charge nurse; direct patient care as needed for the unit.
