East Tennessee Behavioral Health in Knoxville is seeking experienced RNs to join our team of professionals in a growing behavioral health hospital. We provide a full continuum of behavioral health treatment services for adults and seniors, delivering compassionate, personalized care.

The RN will oversee day-to-day nursing operations, ensure adequate staffing, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet residents’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs while

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
• Current registered nursing license in the state where the facility is located.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience strongly preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in any setting required.
• 1 year in psychiatric/recovery programs preferred.
• Some experience as a charge RN or other leadership position strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates and manages census and acuity, allocates nursing resources based on patient needs.
• Model customer service expectations and prioritize patient safety.
• Enforce and interpret policies for delivery of patient and resident care.
• Ensure proper unit staffing, covering call-offs and vacation time.
• Complete chart checks, seclusion/restraint logs, and accurate MARs and reports.
• Lead shift for admissions and discharges and coordinate with physicians.
