Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documentation and handoff tools.
• Creates plan of care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, intervention, and evaluation.
• Assesses patient safety concerns and uses appropriate resources.
• Provides education tailored to the patient’s learning needs.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessment and documentation.
• Demonstrates teach-back method to evaluate learning.
• Utilizes Evidence-Based Practice in nursing care.
• Participates in a patient-centered care model and unit-level quality initiatives.
