Job summary

Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health to provide direct patient care in our Emergency Department Behavioral Health Suite.

You will develop care plans, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for transfers, admissions, and discharges. This role features 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 24 hours per week, with opportunities for continuing education and professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of acute care RN experience with the behavioral health population.
• Valid Maine RN license or ability to obtain.
• BLS and MOAB preferred; strong critical thinking, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessments.
• Monitor and communicate patient conditions; coordinate transfers, admissions, and discharges.
• Educate patients and families; delegate tasks to staff.
• Precept students and new hires; collaborate across disciplines.
