Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Aurora, CO is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for night shifts in the Medical Acute Care Unit. The role includes a 72-hour biweekly schedule, night shift incentive, and an onsite assignment with no remote option.

RN licensure, BLS, and at least 6 months of nursing experience are required. Compensation ranges from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour, with additional quarterly incentives for night shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 6 months of nursing experience.
• BLS/CPR must be valid through the start date or 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-of-scope direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness, patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
• Precept new staff and students; mentor in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
