Qualifications

• BSN or MSN is required.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA is required.
• 2+ years of Step-down/Intermediate/Progressive Care RN experience.
• PCCN preferred or ACLS preferred.
• Ability to assess patients and develop and implement care plans with family involvement.
• Official transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.
• Disclosure on misconduct history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care for 5MN Intermediate patients.
• Supervise nursing interventions and assign related tasks.
• Assess patient, family and staff learning needs and deliver clinical education.
• Promote effective working relationships within an interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement a care plan with detailed instructions for patients and families.
