Job summary

The RN will administer IVs and medications, monitor vital signs with modern equipment, and communicate effectively with physicians and the health care team to coordinate care while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care.
• Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administers IVs and medications to aid in patient health and uses medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
• Full-time night position on the 4ST unit.
