Job summary

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a compassionate registered nurse to join our 22-bed Med Surg unit. Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays, in-person posting in Wilson, NC.

You will assess patient needs, initiate nursing interventions, and document medical necessity with accuracy. A state RN license and nursing degree are required; BLS/ACLS are essential; new grads welcome with 1 year RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and nursing degree required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• New grad RNs welcome; 1 year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
