Job summary

Jacksons-Food-Stores in Puyallup, WA is hiring an Overnight Cashier to deliver friendly service during late-night hours. You’ll process transactions, keep the store clean, stock shelves, and help guests feel welcome. This part-time role offers $17.50–$18.50 per hour with an overnight shift 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

and additional 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. opportunities, plus benefits for full-time later. You’ll thrive in a 24/7 operation with a strong team and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Our stores require flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing.
• A team player with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus.
• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco).

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.
