The candidate should hold Missouri licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC certified, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and patient education skills are preferred.
• Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required.
• NBRC CRT or RRT credential is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory disorders.
• Administer respiratory treatments, therapies, and medications according to physician orders.
• Manage oxygen therapy and airway support interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and recommend adjustments as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
• Support emergency respiratory care and critical patient interventions when needed.
