Job summary

Sunrise Manor & Convalescent Center in Amelia, Ohio seeks a Respiratory Therapist for our PRN night shift. You will operate ventilators and respiratory equipment, administer prescribed therapy, and monitor patient responses to ensure safe, quality care.

Requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and an active State Respiratory Care Practitioner license. 1–3 months of related experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active State Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required.
• 1–3 months of related experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas systems and related equipment.
• Administer prescribed therapy and aerosol medications under physician orders.
• Monitor and document patients' responses, vital signs and treatment outcomes.
• Assist patients with breathing exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Inspect and maintain respiratory therapy equipment for safety and efficiency.
