Job summary

Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston, VA, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift.

Eligible candidates can receive up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Relocation and housing allowances may be available for those outside the area. Applicants must have an AS/BS in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC RRT, state license, and BLS at hire, with RRT within 6 months for new grads.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• NBRC RRT certification and state license with BLS at hire.
• New graduates may qualify with license and RRT within 6 months.
• 1 year of respiratory care experience preferred; not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement physician-directed respiratory care interventions for individuals or groups.
• Work cooperatively with nursing and health care teams for respiratory care.
• Assess and treat patients across ages from neonates to adults.
