Job summary

Clover Staffing in Salida, Colorado seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week contract. You will assist physicians, perform ABG and PFT, develop treatment plans, and operate ventilators in a hospital setting. Shifts are 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM with weekly pay.

The ideal candidate holds NBRC RRT and CRT, BLS/ACLS, and state licensure. 2+ years of clinical respiratory care is preferred. Housing and health benefits are provided; travel pay offered.

Qualifications

• RRT credential from NBRC required.
• CRT certification required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• State licensure required.
• Associate degree or higher in respiratory care from accredited program.
• 2+ years clinical respiratory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory disorders.
• Evaluate patients and perform diagnostic tests (arterial blood gases, pulmonary function tests).
• Develop respiratory treatment plans with physicians.
• Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy.
• Set up and operate mechanical ventilators and aerosol generators.
• Manage life-support equipment in critical care settings.
• Administer respiratory treatments (oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy).
• Respond to emergency situations (cardiac arrest, trauma).
• Collaborate with healthcare team on patient management.
• Educate patients and families about disease management.
