Job summary

Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA is seeking a Graduate or certified Respiratory Therapist to deliver patient respiratory care under medical supervision.

The role may involve supervising staff and participating in orientation and in-service education as needed. Eligible full-time employees receive a 50% tuition discount for themselves and eligible dependents, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates, with a night shift from 7:00p to 7:30a and a $2.50/hour

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required or equivalent
• Graduate of an approved Respiratory program
• Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care services under medical supervision.
• Adapt care to the area assigned and perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Possibly supervise other respiratory care practitioners.
• May participate in orientation and in-service education responsibilities.
