Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Illinois, working night shifts with 12-hour hours. The therapist will provide cardiopulmonary care per physician orders, assess and treat patients with breathing disorders, initiate therapies, and maintain comprehensive patient records.

Applicants must hold a current Respiratory Therapist license, possess BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, have strong EMR navigation skills, and preferably 1 year of

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications required.
• Strong computer skills with EMR navigation.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary care per physician orders.
• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders.
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures and monitor responses.
• Maintain patient records and operate respiratory care equipment.
• Perform respiratory assessments and initial screenings; adjust therapy as needed.
• Educate patient/family on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Ensure safe, accurate documentation in EMR and chart form.
